Bury via Victoria | Artist Book

Bury via Victoria is a concertina artist book of my observational drawings on the tram journey.

The book is printed onto trace so when exhibited in a dark room a light source can be put behind the piece to backlight it. The book form aims to emulate the brightly lit windows full of commuters rushing past the dark Manchester cityscape, consequently displaying the passengers for all to see. Letterpress printed type covers.
